The ideas for Visser’s designs are often initiated by physical or mechanical laws, such as Archimedes Hydrostatics Law.
The products are often the logical results of his enquiries, such as his oil and vinegar bottle, salad Sunrise, where the oil floats on the vinegar in this object as the oil is lighter than vinegar.
Visser believes the immediate cause for a new product may vary but that products must continue to captivate the user.
He feels that one should be committed to them,
to feel them and try them out. Visser prefers a sober use of colours, as he firmly believes the material already possesses a beauty of its own.
